Service Dog training • This training is not a certification, but it does work through all the strengths and deficiencies your dog currently has and sets a plan to get your dog closer to the goal of being your service companion.
Hunting Companion Training • This training is specific to the companion side of hunting dogs. While we will work on retrieving or scent work, we will also work on obedience, manners and etiquette.
Behavior modification • Many unwanted behaviors manifest themselves in aggression, destructive behavior or just things that are unbecoming. This training service investigates the reasons why your dog is displaying unwanted behaviors to find the best path of resolution.
The 2 week session is ideal for 2 types of dog scenarios.
Although the description says on-leash obedience, this is not a stopping point. If your dog advances beyond this point during this time, we will maximize the time and continue advanced training.
The 3 week session is all the things that the 2 week is and more.
Ideal for dogs and owners who want to be more apart of the world at large. Things like going into stores, social functions, traveling, hotels, etc. become a normal part of everyday life.
As you would imagine, the 4 weeks session is all the things that the 2 and 3 weeks are and more. Although this is not an official dog certification, many of the dogs that we work with in the 4 week board and train go on to work as well-trained therapy dogs, highly trained emotional support dogs, and more.
Aside from this, most of our clients are looking for their dogs to become valued members of their families. Families who choose this option may have sensitive living arrangements that require a dog to be tentative to the proximity of children and elderly.
Whatever your needs are, RK9 would love to have a conversation with you to see what works best for you and your trusted companion.
